International Learning 2017: The World Games in Wroclaw

University of Louisville HSS & SPAD students are preparing for their 2017 International Learning program in the beautiful city of Wroclaw, Poland. Students will be volunteering at the 2017 World Games where they will work to coordinate some of the 30 non-Olympic sports in such diverse disciplines as beach handball to sport climbing to casting. Students and Faculty will work in a variety of roles in support of the event including the Media Center, Field of Play, and Team Services.

Jason

Traveling abroad is always a diverse cultural experience, and I love learning about different cultures that you don’t get to experience in the US or even in North America. I’m excited to attend the World Games in Poland because not only is it a tremendous learning opportunity, I get to experience sports that I might not otherwise be able to see. I'm excited to get to work!
