What excites me most about international travel is the experience that cannot be learned in the classroom. The opportunity to fully immerse yourself into a completely new culture and just observe everything is something that you can not understand just by reading a textbook. The experiences by interacting with people in a different country and navigating in an unfamiliar place helps me grow not only as a student and young professional, but as a developing person in today's world. I am excited to attend the World Games in Wroclaw for so many reasons. I am not very familiar with many of the sports that are part of the World Games, so I think getting to work these sporting events at the highest level is going to be absolutely incredible. I have heard that Wroclaw is beautiful and can not wait to see the city as well. I have worked several events here in the US at different levels, and I am very excited to learn the different way of operating events at the international level and see how Europeans may do things differently. If I could say anything to the hosts of the World Games I would first say thank you so much for the opportunity to come out and work this event. I am extremely excited to work with you and learn from you. I will fully immerse myself into your culture and look forward to getting the most out of these days at work and work my hardest.
